Bennett Smith, President and CEO
Bennett brings over 18 years' of leadership in the delivery of world-class information technology solutions with service and technology firms to Convade. Prior to joining Convade, he served as the CEO for FourthWave Software, a Web Services Platform and Solutions Company. Prior to FourthWave, Bennett founded and led ImageLock, Inc., a digital asset management company. Prior to ImageLock, Bennett was a key driver within the management team at FedEx, serving as Managing Director of innovative technology and electronic commerce initiatives. From his tenure at FedEx, Bennett emerged with a complete embracing of the art of superior customer service. He sustains an absolute focus on delivering value and satisfaction to every customer with each and every interaction they have with Convade. Bennett holds an MBA degree from the Information Systems and Entrepreneurship programs at the McCombs Graduate School of Business in Austin, Texas.
Jonathan Kirk, Chairman, Co-Founder
Jonathan brings over ten years' experience in management and international management consulting to Convade. Jonathan is passionate about bringing technology solutions to the marketplace. He led the initial design and development of Convade technologies and continues to guide our efforts in bringing valuable innovations and business solutions to our customers. In addition to his responsibilities as Chairman of Convade, Jonathan currently serves as CEO and Founder of Elanex, a provider of high speed internet-based enterprise translation services. Previously, as a consultant, first for international firm Arthur D. Little and later as Director of Silicon Valley based Muse Associates, he led and participated in strategic business development assignments in 26 countries for more than 30 clients spanning 15 industries, including internet services, broadcasting (including several assignments he led for the BBC), travel, semiconductors and consumer electronics. Jonathan is also a co-founder and Board Director of systemsGo, a leading Japan-based internet systems integrator and IT solutions developer. Jonathan holds a Masters degree in Engineering and Management from Cambridge University, and speaks, reads and writes Japanese.
Mark Strecker, Co-Founder and Board Member
Mark brings over ten years' of industry management and consulting experience in the high tech arena to our team. As a Board Director of Convade, Mark is focused on guiding the management of our Business Development and Professional Services intitiatives. Prior to co-founding Convade, Mark was the Director of e-business at Seagate Technology, responsible for developing and implementing an integrated electronic customer relationship management system. In addition, Mark was responsible for Seagate's e-commerce business, implementing several e-commerce sites, and managing all aspects of the day-to-day business such as online marketing, pricing and partnership programs. As a strategic consultant with Arthur D. Little Mark helped companies such as Thomas Cook and American Express develop their core business strategies including the internet, branding and business plan development. Mark also currently serves as a Business Development advisor for select early-stage technology ventures and venture firms. Mark holds a Masters degree in Engineering and Management from Bristol University in England, and speaks, reads and writes French.
